A Pathway to the Future The College Board’s College and Career Readiness Pathway is a series of integrated assessments that help measure your college and career readiness from now through the 12th grade. Helping Increase Your College and Career Readiness
How Can ReadiStep™ Help You? ReadiStep helps you by providing: • Early indicators of yourcollege readiness • Tools to help improveyour skills • Planning for your transitionto high school • Resources to help you identifycareer interests • Information to help your teachers adjust your courses
What’s on the Test? • No essays or open-ended questions • Three multiple-choice sections: Reading Skills: • Reading passages and sentencecompletions • 40 minutes; 45 questions Writing Skills: • Identifying errors and improving grammarand usage • 40 minutes; 50 questions Math Skills: • Questions on operations, algebra, geometry, statistics and probability • 40 minutes; 36 questions • 20 minutes (18 questions) with calculator • 20 minutes (18 questions) without calculator

No Preparation Necessary • ReadiStep™ • Measures your current skills and provides feedback on how you can improve in the future. • Intended to help you —now and later. Your best preparation is your interest in learning and challenging yourself with the most rigorous courses available.
What Happens on Test Day? • What you need to bring: • No. 2 pencil • Calculator, if available • Helpful hints: • Read all directions. • Read all answer choices carefully. • Do scratch work in the test book. • Work at a steady pace. • Answer all questions—there’s no penalty for guessing.
What Happens After the Test? Scores sent to your school in December. You Receive: • Score reports showing performance relative to other students similar to you, and performance on each test question • Online college- andcareer-planning tools • Tools to improve your skills
