  3. TargetPopulation • Parole • Probation • No formal Supervision but criminal history • “Pre-Offender” Status

  4. Needs Assessment Highlights • Nearly all categories surveyed were identified as being important upon release

  5. Program Set Up • FRST Resource Meetings every 2nd Monday of each month • Re-entry Class at Rancho ERC immediately following on Tue, Wed, Thurs. • Graduation ceremony on Thursday • Appointments made with WDS Advisor

  6. Our Successes • 375 clients have attended the FRST resource meetings • 256 clients have completed the 3 day Re-entry Program • 106 Job Placements • 88 Clients back to work • Rancho Cucamonga ERC has a very successful format for the 3 day Re-entry Class • Rialto Police Department RRST

What’s Needed Now • WIB, WDD, America’s Job Center of California, and Law Enforcement Collaboration across the state • More Federal and State Support to County Workforce Development to support re-entry programs • WDD throughout state to implement re-entry classes specific to their demographic needs. • Plan for capacity as more L/E agencies come online.
