Quadrilateral – a polygon with four sides Parallelogram – a quadrilateral with two pairs of parallel sides Kite – a quadrilateral with exactly two pairs of adjacent congruent sides Rectangle – a quadrilateral with four right angles Rhombus – a quadrilateral with four congruent sides Square – quadrilateral with four congruent sides and angles. Trapezoid – a quadrilateral with one and only one pair of parallel sides

  3. Parallelogram Theorems The opposite sides of a parallelogram are congruent The opposite angles of a parallelogram are congruent
