Review of Criteria & Process • Input on membership/participation obtained from various SARC constituents • Policy is founded in the commitment to being an open and transparent organization that invites all who are interested to participate • Criteria and principles for participation ratified by SARC board

SARC Participation • Individual • Attend meetings • Mailings and regular communication • Submit concepts/trial ideas • Submit application for funding opportunities • Institutional • Participate in trials • Based on trial design and regulatory requirements • Accrual expectations • Funding • Complete general survey annually • Complete trial specific surveys

  4. Scientific Leadership • Leadership Committees • Clinical Research Committee • Developmental Therapeutics Committee • Committee membership • Representation from US based SARC Core Centers and SARC Centers • Web based self or colleague nomination • Appointed by SARC Executive Committee, ratified by Board • Staggered 3-year terms

  5. Committee Composition • Each committee to have 10 members • SARC Core Centers (7 members) • Multidisciplinary sarcoma expertise • At least 70 new cases of sarcoma annually • Experience conducting sarcoma clinical and/or laboratory translational research • SARC Centers (3 members) • Sarcoma clinical and/or laboratory translational research • Small to medium size sarcoma programs
