Benedictine University Dietetic Internship Dietetic Internship established in 1997 The Dietetic Internship is currently granted accreditation by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND), of The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, 120 South Riverside Plaza, Suite 2000, Chicago, Illinois 60606-6995, 312/899-0400
Program Structure • The Dietetic Internship (DI) practice experience is an integral component the Benedictine University master degree program: • Master of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics • Full-Time Program; enrolled in masters courses and internship simultaneously • Spring Match – Lisle Campus; Program size = 14 Dietetic Interns • Fall Match – Kankakee and surrounding area; Program size = 8 Dietetic Interns • Length-18 months for DI/MS in Nutrition and Dietetics
Program Overview This program provides a strong foundation in all aspects of Medical Nutrition Therapy with an emphasis in Community and Public Health Nutrition. • The DI/MS in Nutrition and Dietetics program serves as a portal to careers in • Clinical Nutrition • Foodservice Management • Community Nutrition • More!?!?!?!?
