Clown Fish; • Niche: • Help sea anemones by: • Cleaning Them • Eating Detritus • bodies or fragments of dead organisms • Scaring Away Predators • Adaptations: • Not affected by stinging tentacle of anemones • Eat anemones leftovers & their dead tentacles • Very Active • Bright Colored • Competition: • Saddled Butterflyfish • Have a developed a taste for meat • Rip tentacles from sea anemones • Eventually killing the anemones

  5. Dugongs • Niche: • Adaptations: • Mobility • Paddle-like forelimbs • Fluked, dolphin-like tail • Solid bones with no marrow • keeping them underwater • Feeding • Nose sharply downturned, • adapted for grazing and uprooting seagrasses • Competition
