  1. Awards and Honours Received by Galfar engineering and Contracting SAOG

  2. Sword Of Honour • In 1989, the British Safety Council awarded the Sword of Honour to Galfar in recognition of the Company's dedication and its achievements in safety • Dr. P. Mohamed Ali, the Vice Chairman and Managing Director of Galfar, receiving the Award from the late Dr. Douglas Latto • Galfaris one of the 33 companies worldwide selected to receive the coveted "Sword!“

  3. Appreciation by Shell • Since the beginning Galfar believes that “safety is a way of life”. Under this vision statement Galfar’s management and personnel are working since then. • People of Galfar are very committed to the safety and therefore it has the highest safety records • This Newsflash in Shell's EP Safety publication of April, 1987, recognized Galfar's achievement of 5 Million Accident-Free Man-hours in a wide range of construction activities for PETROLEUM DEVELOPMENT OMAN (PDO), a Shell-managed company.

  4. Royal honour Dr P Mohamed Ali being presented with the prestigious Oman Civil Order of HIS MAJESTY SULTAN QABOOS BIN SAID in recognition of exemplary service to the Sultanate of Oman. 

  5. Bhartiyapravasisamman Dr P Mohamed Ali, received the OutstandingNRI Award, 2004 from the then Prime Minister of India, Mr. Atal Behari Vajpayee.   President Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam felicitating the outstanding non-resident.

  6. Leadership Award • The Construction Awards 2013, which was conducted in Muscat, Felicitated industry performers, best practices, technologies and project excellence through a unique awards ceremony. • Focusing on the construction, infrastructure and real estate industries in Oman, the award ceremony presented awards to Dr P Mohamed Ali who have been instrumental in solidifying the industry's global leadership in corporate responsibility and beyond.
