Thomas Jefferson writes about George Washington.

While serving as President Washington’s Secretary of State, Thomas Jefferson had many disagreements with the President. Eventually these disagreements led to him resigning from the position. After Washington’s death, he wrote a long letter praising the late President. Why do you think Jefferson was so positive about Washington even though they’d had a falling out?
