All systems included, regardless of size, ownership, control, religious affiliation, geographic distribution of hospitals
Measures reflect aggregated data across the whole system, including CAHs
100 Top Hospitals®: National Scorecard measures adjusted to be meaningful at system level 27

Heart Attack (AMI), Heart Failure (HF) and Pneumonia 30 day mortality rates and readmission rates each receive 1/6th weight. All other measures receive a weight of 1.
Ranks are summed and the sum is re-ranked to determine each health system’s overall performance
Health systems are ineligible to be considered 100 Top benchmark facilities if they have:
A high outlier value for Mortality, Complications or PSI (Interquartile Range (IQR) Methodology, using +2 IQR) 31
