Summary table – on 06/08 at ~ 11:00CPass0 – LHC12d • 244 in logbook, 216 runs at reco, 180 at merging • E.g.: run 184645 in logbook, but not in Cpass; 4 are probably too recent • Filters used: LHC12c, PHYSICS, Good Run, GRP ok • COSMICS: 8 failure expected • EMCAL/PHOS/MUON: 28 failure expected • No triggers: 2 failure expected (too short run) • EE/EV/Expired: 4 memory issue during the merging (under investigation) • Others (detectors): 20 • Successful: 118 • 118/(118+20+4) = 83.1% success rate (was >90 on 26/07, detectors failures increased) C. Zampolli
Summary table – on 06/08 at ~ 11:00CPass0 – LHC12d Also TRD 16 recovered rerunning with looser constraints for validation (run 185460 not retried, since it failed anyway in TRD) C. Zampolli
Summary table – on 06/08 at ~ 11:00CPass0 – LHC12d Hardware problem, fixed now C. Zampolli
Summary table – on 06/08 at ~ 11:00CPass0 – LHC12d C. Zampolli
Summary table – on 06/08 at ~ 11:00CPass0 – LHC12d Also TPC C. Zampolli
Summary table – on 06/08 at ~ 11:00CPass1 – LHC12d • Of the 118 successful runs: • 116 at reco • 103 at CPass1… • …of which 101 successful (ignore the red TPC color)… • …1 in EV (186000)… • ...1 failed in TRD (184145)… • Different statistics for CPass0 and CPass1 • 480/480 chunks at CPass0 • 472/480 chunks at CPass1 C. LHC12c C. Zampolli
Summary table – on 06/08 at ~ 11:00CPass0 – LHC12c • 229 in logbook, 163 runs at reco, 159 at merging • E.g.: run 179444 in logbook, but not in Cpass • Filters used: LHC12c, PHYSICS, Good Run, GRP ok • COSMICS: 20 failure expected • EMCAL/PHOS/MUON: 32 failure expected • No triggers: 3 failure expected (too short, or not the right trigger configuration) • EE/EV/Expired: 0 • Others (detectors): 17 • Successful: 87 • 87/(87+17) = 83.7% success rate completed C. Zampolli
Summary table – on 06/08 at ~ 11:00CPass0 – LHC12c completed C. Zampolli
Summary table – on 06/08 at ~ 11:00CPass0 – LHC12c completed C. Zampolli
Summary table – on 06/08 at ~ 11:00CPass0 – LHC12c completed C. Zampolli
Summary table – on 06/08 at ~ 11:00CPass1 – LHC12c • Of the 87 successful runs: • 87 at reco • 75 at CPass1… • …of which 65 successful in CPass1 (ignore the red TPC color)… • …1 running… • …3 (179803, 180720, 180562) in EV… • …and 7 failed in T0, but are MUON runs – they should have not gone through (different AliRoot, probably some changes in T0) • As soon as CPass1 is completed, 1 week of time will be given for manual update. If too little (QM is very close), we’ll increase it. Then, Vpass should start C. Zampolli
Further comments C. Zampolli
Interdependencies • Under discussion: does EMCAL runs need calibration triggers? (PHOS does not) C. Zampolli
Further issues • Some reconstruction jobs fail with bad_alloc under investigation • Grid tests with gdb ongoing not many information retrievable, the jobs ran successfully • QA for LHC12d fails due to too big stdout files that cannot be validated • Responsible: TRD will be disconnected for further productions • Currently modified validation script allows QA to succeed in most (but not all!) of the case • Possibility to create a new definition for the kCalibBarrel alias in case the FASTOR is not available (see slide ) C. Zampolli
FASTOR not available • In case FASTOR is not available during pp (PI triggers not there), a new alias file will be used • kCalibBarrel will be defined with MB triggers at a 100 Hz rate • Already in SL instructions at P2 C. Zampolli
PPass • LHC12a and LHC12b Vpass validated ready for PPass • Under discussion the AliRoot version to use, see https://savannah.cern.ch/task/index.php?32465 • A patched Rev-16 was created to fix the TRD QA issue to be used to run Ppass • Running, first feedback ok C. Zampolli
Calibration of old data • GRP/CTP/Aliases entries to be created, after defining the classes to be used for the reconstruction • Might be needed to apply some downscale C. Zampolli
