Check One night the man got back home late. He was very drunk. When his cat saw him, it tried to run away from the man and this made him angry. He caught his cat by the neck and shook him. Being scared of the man, the cat bit him on the hand. The man grew more angry. Slowly, he took a knife from his pocket, opened it, and then carefully cut out one of the cat's eyes. After that night the man felt very sad and ashamed of what he had done to the cat. He kept on drinking a lot and soon forgot what he had done. Meanwhile the cat was getting better although its empty eye socket looked terrible, but at least it didn't hurt any more. No wonder, the cat would get scared and run away from the man whenever it saw him. This would make the man angry again and he decided to hurt his cat more. END OF TASK
