Job Search Process • Job descriptions posted on the CECS Navigator system • Students apply online or submit hard copy applications to positions that interest them • Employer decides who they would like to interview • During on campus recruiting, job offers are managed through the rank/match process • Students are encouraged to conduct a personal job search to complement co-op recruiting
Co-op Policies • Rank/Match • Available for on campus interviews • Accept any position obtained through the rank/match • Student Participation • Workshops, job posting process, work term visits and reports, back-to-campus meetings • Use your WLU email account and check it regularly for messages!! • Refrain from helping students who are not in Laurier Co-op obtain access to co-op job postings
Dropping the Double Degree • Should you drop out of the Double Degree program prior to your first work term you will no longer be eligible to participate in co-op • Students who complete their first work term and decide to pursue their BBA only, must meet the program requirements of that degree and may transfer to that co-op program provided they have met the overall GPA required in first year to be granted an interview and have received a satisfactory performance evaluation
