  2. Grzegorz Lato • Born 8 April 1950,Lato is the all-time cap leader for the Polish National Football Team. at the 1974 Fifa World Cup he won the Golden Shoe after scoring best seven goals. Lato's playing career coincided with the golden era of Polish football, which began with Olympic gold in Munich in 1972 and ended a decade later with a third place finish at the 1982 World Cup in Spain.Lato retired from professional soccer in 1984 with 45 international goals, arecord that stands to this day.

  3. Adam Małysz • ski jumper (born 3 December 1977 in Wisła) - Małysz won two Olympic medals (Silver, Bronze) at the 2002 Winter Games in Salt Lake City. He has also won an incredible 38 World Cup competitions, second only to Finland's MattiNykänen (46) on the all-time list. • He is the first ski jumper ever to win the World Cup 3 times in a row.

  4. Mariusz Pudzianowski • a professional strongman (born February 7, 1977)- • He is one of the three men that won the World' Strongest Man title (in 2002, 2003, 2005 and 2007) near JónPállSigmarsson and Magnus Ver Magnusson.

Jerzy Dudek • FamousPolishGolkepper (born23 .03.1973) He was a member of Feyenoord Rotterdam, netherlands, where he won Dutch League Championship (1998-99), Dutch Super Cup(1999–2000).There he also won the Dutch Keeper Of The Year Award twice (1998–99, 1999-2000). • In 2002 transferred to Liverpool of the English Premier League, where hewon: the League Cup (2002–03), UEFA Champions League (2004–05), the European Super Cup (2005–06), the FA Cup (2005–06). • Presently Dudek plays for Real Madrid in Spain. He has made 56 appearances for the Polish National Team.

  6. Robert Korzeniowski • (born July 30, 1968) is a former Polish racewalker. He won four gold medals at the Summer Olympics and has won three world championships.

  7. Zbigniew Boniek • soccer player (born 3 March 1956 - He played on Zawisza Bydgoszcz, WidzewŁódź, Juventus and AS Roma. In 2004 Pelé got him on the FIFA100 list.

  8. Robert Kubica • (born 7 December 1984 ), Robertis the first Polish Formula One driver. He made his racing debutin2006inhungary. He experienced his first podium finish at Monza, Italy at the 2006 Italian Grand Prix. he finished his race third and stood on the podium next to Michael Schumacher and KimiRäikkönen. • In the 2007 Formula One season he survived a horrific crash at the Canadian Grand Prix. Kubica came out of the crash with only a sprained ankle and minor concussion. Robert scored his very first victory in Formula 1 at 2008 Canadian Grand Prix (it was also the very first win for BMW Sauber team). He has brought Formula One to Poland, bringing along with him many new fans. He is currently racing for the BMW Sauber Formula One Team

  9. OTYLIA JĘDRZEJCZAK Polishswimmer. The Olympic champion fromAthens 2004 in the 200 metrebutterfly. She finished 4th in this event in the 2008 SummerOlympics in Beijing. Three times she broke theworldrecordinthewomen’s 200m butterfly.

  11. IWONA GUZOWSKA • Iwona Kamila Guzowska 7th February 1974 – kickboxing and boxworld champion. Shehas won theWorld Cup in kickboxing and boxfourtimes.

  12. MONIKA PYREK • Polish pole vaulter. Competing at the 2004 Olympics, she placed fourth with 4.55 metres, She won a silver medal in the 2005 WorldChampionshipswith the result 4.60 m. She also won the silver medal at the 2006 EuropeanAthleticsChampionships.

  13. KAMILA SKOLIMOWSKA • (4 November 1982 – 18 February 2009) was aPolishhammerthrower. She won the Olympic gold medal in Sydney 2000, which made her the youngest Olympic hammer champion. • Her personal best throw - 76.83 metres. • She died on 18 February 2009 in Vila Real de Santo Antonio, Portugal, during a Polish national team training camp.
