  2. Introduction • Acoustic Art will convert images to music. • This will serve to create a new method for musical composition. • Entering this in the Imagine Cup. University of Portland School of Engineering

  3. Scorecard • Got FunSpec 1.0 approved • Prototyped reading an image in, using C# • Prototyped playing a scale, in C# • Experiment with image analysis algorithms (grey scale) University of Portland School of Engineering

  4. Additional Accomplishments • Met with E-Scholar • Prototyped playing multiple notes simultaneously • Round 1 of the imagine cup • Made contact with visually impaired CS professor, Daniel Zingaro •  Met with Dan Waters about Imagine Cup University of Portland School of Engineering

  5. Plans • Submit a basic version of our project for Imagine Cup round 2 (Nov. 15) • Finish Design Doc versions .9 and .95 • Nail down design for 2 composition algorithms • Determine interface between analysis and composition University of Portland School of Engineering
