Positive experience of the Icelandic participation in the Entrepreneurship and innovation programme. The Enterprise Europe Network helps small business to make the most of the European marketplace

Enterprise Europe Network EEN helps assess the technology to identify potential, needs and funding opportunities Helps to formulate project ideas Finds partners through our unique database and network contacts Increases proposal-writing and project management skills Helps reach cooperation agreements

Awarded grants in 2009 concerning Enterprise Europe Network • EU network of female “Entrepreneurship Ambassadors” • Eligible cost of project (EUR 161.432), EU co-financing EUR 80.716 • Lead partner from Denmark, partners from Iceland and Norway. • Supports implementation of the Small Business Act • Ambassadors form a network of mentors for women entrepreneurs • In Iceland we have 4 women ambassadors
