  1. Antonio Gaudi A presentation by A. Coupar and L. Mackay

  2. His most famous Work • Antonio Gaudi’s most famous piece of work is the Church of La Sagrada Familia (left). The Soldiers in his scene of the death of Jesus that is on Church gave George Lucas the idea for the Storm Troopers in Star Wars.

  3. Unfinished cathedral… The Church of La Sagrada Familia is not finished. We wont see it in our lifetime because on the left is how its supposed to look like.

  4. Who was it for? He designed the it to have 18 towers, 12 for the 12 Apostles, 4 for the 4 Evangelists (the authors of the new testament) , One for Mary and one for Jesus.

  5. His other work He Designed the park Guel. A park in the centre of Barcelona which has a bench made out stone and covered in mosaic pattern's. He also designed the Mosaic Lizard (left) which many tourists have sat beside.

  7. His life He was born in Reus, near Barcelona in Spain. Records show the he was born on the 25th of June 1852 and died on the 10th of June 1926 (age 73). Gaudi was a devoted Catholic, to the point that in later years he abandoned some of his work and devoted most of his life to Catholicism and his La Sagrada Familia.
