  1. How Educators can help Children to be Global Citizens Global education is a mix of ideas taught to improve a student’s perspective of the world. It forms a part of the curriculum where educators blend multiple dimensions, standpoints, and citizenship into regular class lessons. Global education turns people into more active, responsible global citizens. Need of Global Education Technology has bridged gap between humans geographically and psychologically. The way people gain knowledge, interact and participate has widely transformed. Moreover, we all are becoming intensely connected by breaking the walls of social, cultural and language barriers. Now, to gain better insights about global concerns and develop critical thinking, students are prepared to contribute to improving the society. Since there is no prescribed way to help your students achieve global citizenship, educators should know what is relatable to their students and be creative when planning discussions and activities. How are Teachers helping kids to be global citizens? 1. Be Socially Active One of the best ways for your students understand what’s going on in the world, as well as collaborate with students and organizations abroad, is to become digitally connected. The Internet offers a wide range of news sources and commentaries, many of which are suitable for students of all ages. Teachers can use apps, such as Skype, Google Hangouts, or social media to have conversations with other classes or global participants. 2. Challenge perceptions about the world Teaching a few skills to teachers is an essential part to follow and act. By teaching them about the questioning everything before they believe, it becomes easy to develop better brainstorming skills, observe, understand and analyze the things deeply rather than gulping down the information that is provided to them. This is the reason which will make a difference in the attitude of the students. 3. Using a process of Think, Learn and Act Don't stop at the learning, but get pupils thinking about them how to do something as responsible global citizens. This can include raising awareness locally, contacting their MPs, or changing their shopping habits. If routinely practiced, learn-think-act should come as second nature to your students — ultimately leading to a class of amazing, young global citizens. At Shakuntala Vidyalaya, students are motivated every day by passionate teachers, challenging and relevant content and interactive events. From time to time, the school updates its teaching practices to be aligned with the world and makes use of the right opportunities for education today.
