wiCADETWidening Access through COMPUTING APPS DEVELOPMENT TRAINING • Views of Schools Below is a message sent from Mr Robert Johnston, Cookstown High School, Teacher of winning team of wiCADET 2012: “University of Ulster App Camp 2012 was truly the start of an interesting journey for the teams of pupils and staff at Cookstown High School. One of our school pupils even had the opportunity to complete a work placement with SilverFish, Coleraine last summer. I have had the opportunity through a GTC funded fellowship within the University of Ulster to develop my own app development skills, and I am currently planning to adopt app development within our A'Level ICT course. Your access project was the catalyst to all this, and possibly more to come. Thanks again!”
