  2. Basic facts • Description: Is a disease passed down through families that cause thick, sticky mucus to build up in the lungs, digestive tract, and other areas of the body. It is on of the most common chronic lung diseases in children and young adults. It is a life-threatening disorder

  4. Sign and symptoms: • The signs and symptoms of cystic fibrosis (CF) vary from person and overtime. One of the first signs of CF that parents may notice is that their body’s skin tastes salty when kissed, or the baby doesn't pass stool when first born. People who have CF have thick, sticky mucus that builds up in their airways. Men who have CF are infection because they born without a vas deferens (tube that delivers sperm from test to penis)

  5. How it treated • Although there is no cure for C.F, the common forms of treatment include antibiotics, exercise, and chest physical therapy. The main goals of treatment include antibiotics, exercise, and chest physical therapy. • The main goal of treatment are to prevent and control infection in the lungs, remove thick, sticky mucus from the lungs, and prevent blockages in the intestines.
