  2. 1 – Qaboosbin Said al Said • His Majesty Sultan Qabus acceded to the thrown on 23rd July 1970 and since then he is has been ruling the Oman Sultanate • Power of armed forces, Minister of Defense, Minister of Foreign Affairs and chairman of the Central Bank all are controlled by him • He has financed the construction or maintenance of a number of mosques, notably the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, as well as the holy places of other religions. • The Sultan's birthday, 18 November, is celebrated as Oman's national holiday

  3. 2 – Yusuf bin Alawi bin Abdullah • HE Yusuf Bin Alawi Bin Abdullah joined the diplomatic service in October 1970, and became a Second Secretary in 1972 • Minister Responsible for Foreign Affairs of the Sultanate of Oman • His role of skillful use of diplomacy to promote peace and security throughout the region and beyond

  4. 3 – Ali Al-Habsi • He is an Omani professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for English club Reading and captains the Oman national team • He has been an inspiration not just for the young generation who are involved in sports but also people from other fields because of dedication and decipline • He has received several awards in Oman and on international level for his contribution in sports

  5. 4 – Isla Fischer • Fisher was born in Muscat, Oman, the daughter of Scottish parents, Elspeth Reid and Brian Fisher. • She has since been known for her comedic roles in Scooby-Doo (2002), I Heart Huckabees (2004), Confessions of a Shopaholic (2009) and many more • Her fans are spread across the globe and her social media count on every platform is immense

  6. 5 – Dr P Mohamed Ali • P Mohamed Ali a Non-Resident Indian is a business tycoon from who has laid the foundation of Galfar Construction and Contracting SAOG • His contribution in the infrastructural development of Oman is immense and his company has completed some world class projects in Oman • P Mohamed Ali is also known for his philanthropic work which he has been doing to promote education in the society • He has been an inspiration for many and his followers are spread across Oman and neighbouring countries.
