  1. ONE MJMT COFFEE COMPONENTS AND BENEFITS

  2. THE COMPONENTS AND BENEFITS OF THE COFFEE 8 Essential Amino Acids Kelp Fucoidan Seaweed Extract Moringa Oleifera ( Maluggay ) Stevia Robusta Coffee

  3. The Eight Essential Amino Acids Valine – an important source of nitrogen, an important component in alanine and glutamine synthesis in the muscles. Isoleucine – an indispensible part of man’s diet and that lack of it can lead to serious negative nitrogen balance more seriously than experience with other amino acids.

  4. It regulates blood sugar and boosts the body’s energy level; • Plays a key role in the transport of oxygen from the lungs to the various parts of the body and the protection of haemoglobin, the part of the blood that contains iron; • It is important in the efficient metabolism of glucose as manifested by the increase in the absorption of sugar; • Reduces the level of sugar in the blood by 20 % and increase sugar absorption in the muscle by 17 % without necessarily increase the level of insulin in the body.

  5. Leucine – leucine is the branched chain of amino acid that plays a major role in the production of proteins. • Leucine is the great energy source especially during intense athletic performance and other extreme physical activities. It protects you from getting tired easily during exercise and it regulates your glucose level. • It can be used for losing weight because it has ability to dissolve visceral fat, the kind of fat found in the deepest layer of the skin that does not respond to the usual weight loss exercises or non-surgical procedures.

  6. Phenylalanine – phenylalanine is the forerunner of tyrosine, the anti-depressant dopamine norepinephrine, epinephrine and the skin pigment, melanin. Eating foods rich in phenylalanine will help. • Prevent mood swing, help you out of lethargy, sluggishness, feelings of low morale and anxiety. It relieves pain and fights depression. • Its pain-relieving property can be attributed to its ability to block the enzyme carboxypeptidase that causes enkephalin damage.

  7. Threonine – is an important ingredient in the formation of bones cartilages, hair teeth and nails. The mucin content in threonine, serine and proline which account for 20% to 55% of the total amino acid content in the intestines is responsible for this activity. • Threonine is responsible for the growth and development of liver muscles, skeletal muscles and small intestines of young animals. • Threonine may also prevent cancer. This occurs the process of phosphorylation which usually occurs on threonine, serine, and tyrosine residues.

  8. Tryptophan – is a sleep-inducing amino acid which is an important component in the production of serotonin, vitamin B3 or niacin, and auxin (a plant hormone). It is the tryptophan content that’s make you sleeps. This is attributed to the high serotonin, (a neurotransmitter that’s calm the brain) and the high melatonin (a sleep-inducing hormone) levels in the brain when substantial amount of typtophan-containing foods have been eaten. • Tryptophan is also used to treat seasonal affected disorder or SAD and premenstrual disorder, diseases associated with low levels of serotonin in the brain; • Prevents the development of bladder cancer.

  9. Methionine – is one of two sulfur-containing proteinogenic amino acids. Methionine is important in the manufacture of cycteine, carnitine, taurine, lecithin, phosphadylcholine, and other phospholiphides. Improper conversion of methionine can lead to atherosclerosis. • Methonine is used to treat diseases of the liver especially those caused by carbon tetrachloride and arsenic.

  10. Methionine is also known possess the ability to minimize the spread of the flu virus by inhibiting their further proliferation in the body. Lysine – is a key component is the production of hormones and enzymes and plays an important role in collagen production, a substance that is critical in bone muscle, cartilage, and skin formation. • Lysine plays a key role in calcium absorption by reducing the amount of calcium being excreted in the urine.

  11. It promotes the growth of hair, nails, teeth and bones. It also prevents bone loss that leads to osteoporosis. • It also prevents the occurrence of herpes simplex infections, or cold sores. They are called essential amino acids not because they are more important than other amino acids but because it is essential that they are included in the daily diet since they are not produced naturally by the body.

  12. FUCOIDAN Is a substance found in the cell walls of certain seaweed species that is used medicinally for a wide variety of health purposes. • Fucoidan have been more widely studied for their ability to heal and protect the body from acute illness such as virus to chronic illness like cancer. • Fucoidan may benefit people under stress or at risk of liver cirrhosis.

  13. KELP Are large seaweeds (algae) belonging to the brown algae (Phaeophyceae) in the order Laminariales. • Kelp is a major source of iodine- a necessary mineral in our bodies. The thyroid gland, for example, needs iodine to do its work properly. Yet most of us are iodine deficient.

  14. Help with the detoxification of the body which can in turn help to prevent health problems whilst making you feel rejuvenated. • An Immune booster, kelp extract can also help to improve the effectiveness of the immune system. • Kelp can also help to prevent early loss of elasticity of the skin and therefore keep skin looking firmer and younger for longer. • Kelp is especially important in terms of women’s health as it is rich in iron, potassium and calcium, all useful for women of all ages, during menstruation, pregnancy and for new Mums.

  15. Kelp extract also contains large amounts of folic acid. Research shows that alongside cardiovascular benefits, folic acid is also essentials for the healthy development of babies during pregnancy and folic acid deficiencies in pregnant women causes an increased risk of birth defects.

  16. MORINGA OLEIFERA Moringa Oleifera is planted throughout the Philippines in settled areas at low and medium altitudes. Scientific research has proven that these humble leaves are in fact a powerhouse of nutritional value. Ounce per ounce, it has the calcium of four glasses of milk, the vitamin C of seven oranges and the potassium of three bananas.

  17. It can rebuild weak bones and nourish Breakfast babies • Effective against CANCER, and AMEMIA • CONSTAPATION and DIARRHEA • Has antibiotic properties against skin infections • Doctors use it to treat DIABETES in West Africa • HIGH BLOOD pressure in India

  18. STEVIA Is a natural sweetener derived from leaf plant. It’s 300x as sweet as sugar, so it only takes a small amount to produce the same sweet taste as cane sugar. Benefits: A no-carb, no-calorie substitute For those watching their carbohydrate or caloric intake, stevia is both carb- and calorie-free. This makes it possible for dieters to satisfy sweet cravings without wrecking their eating plans.

  19. Lowers Blood Pressure Stevia has been shown, in some studies, to lower blood pressure. This makes it an ideal sweetener for people with high blood pressure. Lower Blood Sugar For people with blood sugar levels, Stevia has the possible benefits of lowering sugar levels. This make it a possibly acceptable substance for anyone with blood sugar or insulin problems, including diabetics. However, diabetics should continue to monitor their blood sugar levels and insulin levels after using Stevia to make sure everything remains in check.

  20. Has Antibacterial Properties Stevia, when used orally, has shown antibacterial properties. This makes it an ideal ingredient in toothpaste and mouthwashes, as it can aid in fighting cavities and gingivitis. It has shown the same properties when used topically, and has been used as an ointment in the treatment of eczema and acne.

  21. Aids in Calcium Formation Some studies, conducted on chicken eggshells, have shown that chickens who are fed a preparation laced with Stevia lays eggs with significantly tougher shells. This suggests that Stevia aids in calcium formation, which would be an ideal side effect particularly for women and children with growing bones.
