  4. What is FOODIE? 1. Foodie is a fully Automatic Composting machine which converts any kind of Organic Waste into Compost within 24 Hrs at Source 2. The 24 Hrs Composting Process in India is pioneered and developed by Ecoman which is a great combination of Bio-Technology and Engineering. 3. The process is completely natural and biological and it is achieved by in-vessel composting wherein perfect mixing, heating and ventilation cycle is achieved by Ecoman’s composting machine “FOODIE”. This perfect mixing, heating and ventilation is achieved by PLC, mixing blades, exhaust system, smart sensors and Controllers and its proprietary Software Program. This can be achieved by applying good engineering concepts and design.

  10. What Is Pre-processor? 1. The pre-processor consists of Crusher, De-waterer (Screwpress) and Conveyor which is combined into a Single unit 2. The waste is added into the hopper which feeds into the crusher. The crusher crushes the waste and reduces particle size which helps for faster composting and gives much better compost. 3. The crushed waste then enters the De-waterer. The De-waterer consists of a screw press which removes excess water from the crushed waste and increases capacity of the machine. It also reduces electrical consumption and increases overall efficiency of the composting machine. 4. The de-watered waste then enters the Screw-Conveyor which lifts the waste and the waste is then added to the machine. 5. With a pre-processor the operation of adding the waste to the machine becomes much more easier and convenient. It also nearly doubles the capacity of the machine as the particle size is reduced and excess water is also removed
