2. Beta Set-Up 1st Hour: • Choose fish and record on your DAE sheet the breed. Keep the jar at your stations for the rest of the periods. • Choose a tank and then: A. Rocks • B. Fill ¾ with distilled water (Blue handle) • C. Fill the rest with tap: let the water run for a while before so it doesn’t come out brown. • D. Add fish and feed 2 pellets of beta food • E. Name fish (by Thursday) with a sciencey name and write it on the card at your station Winning names chosen after school.
