  1. Click Send and then Curl into a Ball of Regret If you have ever been in the position of sending important email with Gmail you will probably have also clicked ‘Send’ just as your eye catches a typo, you’ve sent it to the wrong Stacey or some other horrible mistake that makes you want to curl up and die of embarrassment. Then you wish you could reach into cyber space and grab that email back. Now you can – sort of. Gmail has finally come to the party with something at least close enough to hopefully save us all. It’s not as handy as Microsoft Outlook’s ‘Retrieve Unread Emails’ feature but it’s more than Gmail has offered before. It has launched a simple ‘Unsend’ option that holds your email from shooting out into cyber space for up to 30 seconds. You can now set it to delay sending in increments of 5 seconds up to 30, quite long enough to prevent that dastardly mistake going to your client’s inbox and ruining your reputation forever. If you’re emailing from your mobile the feature is not available here yet, so be extra vigilant to avoid any costly mistakes.
