“Ohhhhhhh Foooooood”Here are Homer and my own personal favorites
Happens to be of my lineage so I like it! • Lefse or in the vernacular, Norwegian tortillas • Made from flour and potato's • Italian • Now who doesn’t like pizza (arguable whether it came from Italy but who really cares) or a good slab of salami? Norwegianand Italian
Kimchi • Chopped, spiced, fermented cabbage • Yaki-mondu aka Potstickers • Kim Bop (Sushi of sorts. Best made with beef) • And in case you really wanted to know…no! Korean
I know there is a difference, but… • As a bright white kid coming from New England to New Mexico, enchiladas first scared me but have since become my dear friends • Sidebar info: it would have been a good time for someone to issue me a roll of asbestos toilet paper Spanish and Mesican
Personal favorites • Southern food; pretty much all of it • Sea food; scallops, scrimp, lobster, crab • Beans; baked, French cut green, and jelly • Corn; sweet and fresh from the can or cob • Good old New England style pizza, grinders (subs) and fried clams • Throw in a hot fudge sundae with mint chocolate chip ice cream and now we are singing songs! Good old American Vittles!!!
And I reckon you could ask the same question about the world? • The answers are simple…pretty dang hungry and pretty dang skinny. Where would the U.S. be without this great creation???
