Know the difference between @ and # In @Connect, lets the person (or business or organization) know you have composed a tweet about him/her/it. Indicates a topic or trend, like #SuperBowl, #recipe, or #manup. Helps people find all the tweets on the hashtag subject.
Never put spaces between the words that make up @s and #s! They are a continuous stream of characters with no breaks.
You can use @s and #s in the same tweet, but you should limit yourself to 2 total.
