Technical courses Coaches • Training requested by the NOC in collaboration with the NFs • Average duration one week minimum • Basic level (1 or 2) according to the standards of the IF • $ 80,000 /NOCs /four-year period • Average of 300 courses per year, all Olympic sports – 6 for archery in 2010
Scholarships Coaches • Training in Sports Sciences • Academic training • Courses organised by Universities or High level training centres • Average duration : 2 - 6 months • Result : diploma or certificate • Only 1 for archery in 2010 (DMA)
Scholarships Coaches • B. Sport Specific Training • Training in specific sports in a high level training centre or a club • Technical and practical specialisation • Average duration : 3 weeks - 3 months • 1 Olympic scholarship / year / NOC • 5 for archery in 2010
Development of the National Sports Structure Coaches • Average duration : 1 - 3 months • Visit of an expert from abroad • $ 25,000 - 30,000 / project • Training of local coaches • Support and training for athletes • Talent identification • Etc. • 1 request / year / NOC • 3 for archery in 2010
