Goals of the Seminar • Have an opportunity for the Federation of Canadian Archers to train their own Level IV coaches • Get International Experience in terms of Instruction from different European countries • Promote the Federation of Canadian Archers within FITA, as a good location to host international events in the future
International Coaches • Mr. Andre Korlaar – The Netherlands • Mr. Korlaar speaks English well but has limited communication abilities in French. • He has a great experience with a successful teams. • His courses are very well prepared • Mr. Falk Thiele – Germany • Mr. Thiele speaks good English. • He is a successful coach for compound archers • He belongs to a successful staff in Germany • He is very equipment oriented • As an expert he has a lot of knowledge
Level IV Tasks • Task 3 • Plan, conduct and evaluate a training program for additional archery performance factors • Mr. Andre Korlaar • Task 10 • Biomechanical analysis of advanced technical skill • Mr. Falk Thiele • Task 11 • Plan conduct and evaluate training programs to deal with strategy and tactics for the elite archer to you • Mr. Andre Korlaar • Task 13 • Analyze performance factors as a basis for coaching decisions • Mr. Falk Thiele
Schedule • 2 sessions a day • Morning session (08H00 – 12H00) • Afternoon session (13H00 – 17H00) • Leave the evenings free to explore Toronto • Meet and Greet Session • Monday evening (18H00 – 21H00) • Plenary Speaker • Mr. Andrew Higgins • Director – National Coaching Institute • Representative from the Canadian Olympic Committee • Athlete Seminar • Friday evening (18H00 – 21H00) • Athlete Rep for FCA • Representative from the Canadian Olympic Committee • International Instructors

Budget • $15,700 USD Budget approved from PASO • Glendon College • $38 CAD per day for Accommodation • $30 CAD per day for Food Allowance • 10 representatives from Canada • 1 representative from each country from the Northern Region of PASO
