  2. Overview • $70m Gore Highway reconstruction for DTMR • Campaign targeted the workforce’s attitudes to safety • Changed the culture of the team long-term • Messages: STOP – THINK – PLAN – GO • Pre and post surveys monitored progress.

Innovation and challenges • High risk project with live traffic and no side tracking • Creation of 1.2m “Danger Zone” kept personnel away from travel path • Pilot vehicles escorted traffic at 40km/h • Remotely operated traffic signals protected workforce from stray vehicles.
