Slavery • Women are being brought and sold as property • Pimps take prostitutes away from others to have total control over them • They are manipulated into believing anything that their pimps tell them
The emotional abuse that prostitutes face • Pimps control prostitutes by inducing intense fear • Due to stress and because of the emotional abuse, prostitutes are diagnosed with posttraumatic stress disorder
Prostitutes undergo a lot of physical abuse as well Prostitutes report being beaten an average of fifty-eight times a year A lot of prostitutes are beaten and even killed by their buyers Prostitutes are raped, assaulted, and sometimes even murdered
Prostitutes have to deal with unwanted pregnancies and unsafe abortions • Prostitutes also have to go through the pain of not knowing who the father of their child is and it could be any man in the world • Their children have to grow up without having a father in their lives
Most prostitutes are attacked More than any soldier in any WAR
Disease and STD’s are a part of prostitution • Diseases are being carried back home by the buyers and its being spread amongst the family
We need to stop prostitution before it gets here because most started as children wanting to be loved
Emotional abuse can tear a persons self-esteem And greatly impair Psychological development
Overtime Emotional abuse brain Washes the victim
Most were Beaten by Parents as a child
Overtime drugs And alcohol become A comfort
