Case Study Veridian LLC Commercial PV Project This Palm Desert project is the first and largest commercial PV system approved under Palm Desert's Energy Independence Program, AB811 guidelines. This is a 60 kW system mounted on "Solar Structures" (carports). Project was completed in September 2009.
Case Study JD Pierce and Company Suntrek designed and built a 36kW system that was attached to custom-built carports in this apartment community in the high desert. The project was completed in April 2008, general contractor was JD Pierce and Company, Inc.
Case Study Naval Air Station Lemoore Suntrek is installing 56 flat panel hot water collectors, a 20,000 gallon tank and 4 heat exchangers at Lemoore Naval Air Station for domestic hot water heating.
Case Study Long Beach Airport The Long Beach Airport Photovoltaic Project featured bi-facial solar modules mounted on dual-axis trackers. This project is considered a leading-edge demonstration of solar power and featured by the city.
Case Study Fire Station Yucaipa, CA Suntrek designed a system for the City of Yucaipa that maximized the possible solar exposure on the roof of one of their fire stations. The project was completed in September 2008.
Case Study Ground Mount System The Gubler project was a 20kW ground mount system, consisting of 114 SolarWorld 175 watt modules and 4 Xantrex 5000 inverters. Suntrek designed and built out the entire project with the exception of pouring the concrete slab.
Case Study Pomona College Suntrek is contracted to install an 81.725 kW system on two buildings at Pomona, as well as 2,088 gallons of solar hot water to be provided with thermo siphon technology. This system will be part of a LEED gold building. Scheduled installation: winter/spring of 2010.
