Home Education – Parents/Carers To be completed within 10 days of receipt of letter Parent Elects HEP NOT KNOWN TO EWO • EWO will: • Discuss with school to obtain background to decision. • Complete HEP2 and check SC*** • Forward all paperwork to JMc/MN including copy/original letter KNOWN TO EWO • EWO will: • Discuss with school to obtain background to decision. • Check if family are known to SC*** and complete HEP2. • Home visit to family. Give information pack. • Complete pre CAF checklist. • Explain CAF and offer opportunity to complete in 4 weeks. • Enter work on Capita ONE. • Forward all paperwork to JMac/MN including copy/original letter. • JMac/MN will: • Establish contact • Make a home visit to family and give information pack. • Complete pre CAF • Offer CAF (4 weeks) • JMac/MN will: • Enter change of school history on Capita ONE. • Referral or CORE • Notify SC (copies of CAF) • Notify Health *** If child is subject to CP register or CIN, please discuss with JC/JMac/MN/CG first. ▲ If family is out of borough, forward letter to JMac direct, who will notify home authority with covering letter.
