Provincial Strategy for Disability Inclusion: Empowering Accessibility and Engagement

This strategy focuses on inclusive policies, community engagement, and infrastructure to support persons with disabilities. It aligns with a broad policy framework, enhances civic engagement, and aims to remove barriers to access. The implementation involves multi-year action plans, evaluation, and progress tracking, with 43 concrete actions targeting attitudinal, physical, and systemic barriers. The coordination, monitoring, and reporting are overseen by the Disability Policy Office. Updates on progress are provided annually to the House of Assembly, ensuring transparency and accountability.
