  2. Why should catechists consider using Videos, DVDs, CDs & Music in Faith Formation? 1. Our students live in a media world. They’re used to getting information in multi-media fashion.

  3. Why use Videos, DVDs & Music? 2. Kids get bored with only discussion, lectures and reading.

  4. Why use Videos, DVDs & Music? 3. Teacher’s manuals make suggestions for media to be used in lessons.

  5. Why use Videos, DVDs & Music? 4. Learning styles of students vary greatly. Use variety to “catch” them all.

  6. Why use Videos, DVDs & Music? 5. It’s the best technique to accomplish a specific goal or objective.

  13. What does it cost to use Media? The handling fee is $3.00 per Video/DVD or CD-ROM and $1.00 per music cassette/compact disc. If a parish or school has a Media Contract, a once-a-year fee is paid before September 1 for unlimited usage for the following year.
