U D Faculty Development - Over a third of the faculty have participated in ITUE-PBL workshops. - Based on the Spring 2001 Instructional Survey, 53% of faculty use PBL in their courses and 84% use other forms of active learning in their courses. - 93% of faculty in Engineering and Sciences regularly work with undergraduates in research. - 66% of all faculty regularly supervise undergraduates in research.
U D Faculty Development - Over 60 faculty lead study abroad programs, ranking UD among the top ten institutions nationally in terms of proportion of students studying abroad. - Forty two percent of faculty report that they are using technology in their classes. - When WebCT was introduced last year, 39 courses (2,472 students) used the course management system. This year, 220 courses (6,800 students) use WebCT and approximately 250 faculty members have taken the WebCT introductory training.
