  2. RTP About us Rectifier Technologies (RTP) is a Melbourne, Australia based designer and developer of DC Power solutions. It is credited as being the first company in the world to develop a switch-mode 110/220 V rectifier for power utilities in 1997. RTP won the Australian Design Award for the development of the RT4 series of power supplies. Other notable achievements include the AusIndustry award for commitment to business excellence, finalist in the Business Asia award for the best use of technology in Asia Pacific, and award for the Exporter of the Year. With end-users of RTP present in most countries in the world, it has a global footprint and exposure. Manufacturing facilities are in Malaysia with distribution channels in Asia, Europe and Americas.

  3. History A project sponsored by AusIndustry of the Australian Government, results in development of a module that is integrated into a range of PowerShelves and highlighted at the INTELEC conference & exhibition in Berlin. Current customers include Vivo Brazil for their expanding wireless networks. Prestigious Australian Design Award for new generation of 25A rectifiers. These products became popular in explosive growth of wireless networks in the following years The 12kW rectifier manufactured in Australia, China and India bycompanies including Exicom, Com10 and HFCL. Today it is still inproduction and provides widespread service. Patented developments in “Lossless Snubbers” are incorporated in a new 50A rectifier targeted at the difficult electrical environments of China and India. Telstra commissions Tino Vescovi (one of the founding members) to develop world’s first 200A switch mode rectifier 1988 1998 1992 1995 2005 1993 1997 1987 1990 A 12kW Switched Mode Rectifier with Power Factor Corrected 3 phase input demonstrated to the world, more than a decade before companieslike Emerson and Tyco would have products of comparable specification. RTP products gain acceptability for ruggedness in the Chinese market A compact 100A rectifier described at INTELEC, in The Hague, Netherlands, sets a new standard for large central office power systems providing 10,000A within only five 19” racks. A new company, Rectifier Technologies Pacific Pty. Ltd. (RTP), isformed to focus on bringing innovative telecom power technology to all cornersof the globe via technology licensing. A “Lossless Active Clamp for Secondary Circuits” is patented and provides new levels of power efficiency

  4. Why Switch Mode? Switch Mode power supplies use an internal control circuit to rapidly switch power transistor on and off in order to stabilize output voltage or current Benefits: Facts: Size & Weight: Higher frequencies mean smaller transformers and therefore smaller systems AC-DC Conversion Efficiency: Ideally 100% efficiency. Typical values are >95% Versatile Output Voltage: Can be higher, lower or even negative to the input voltage Power Factor: Higher Power Factor ensures more efficient operation Switched Mode based rectifiers can be upto 1/10th the size and weight of Thyristor based rectifiers With our Switch Mode Rectifiers, you don’t need redundant systems. You only need redundant rectifiers – Saves space and money

  5. RT7 Overview The RT4F-220V/12A is a switched moderectifier/charger module designed toprovide up to 12A of output current into a220V nominal system. This charger hasbeen designed to be used in conjunctionwith a battery to provide an uninterruptibleDC power system. The low noise and highreliability make it ideally suited to industrialapplications including switch tripping andemergency lighting. Up to five chargerscan fit in a single magazine and large systems can be configured using a single control and supervisoryunit (MiniCSU). • Salient Features: • 3 phase rectifier module • Available in 48V/110V flavours

  6. RT4F Overview The RT4F-220V/12A is a switched moderectifier/charger module designed toprovide up to 12A of output current into a220V nominal system. • Salient Features: • High efficiency • “Hot Swap” and “Plug & Play” convenience • Uninterrupted operation because of N+1 redundancy • Intelligent monitoring system via a controller • Compliance with IEC safety, EMC and environmental standards
