10. National Year 1 Implementation Plan SO4 Human Rights and Access to Justice
Year 1 will require core focus on aligning planning and key stakeholders. We need to put in place “core building blocks”.
End of year 1 into year 2 core initiatives to start.

Looking at ways to expand community outreach programmes to facilitate better understanding of HIV and the law

Ensuring all government departments have workplace programmes in place
Looking at ways to ensure the Private sector has adequate workplace procedures in place to address discrimination related issues and to determine how these are being monitored
Orientation of relevant stakeholders on HIV/TB discrimination
Consolidate all current policies and guidelines and determine implementation status and monitoring approaches
Establishing programmes to build capacity amongst sectors on human rights.
Identify key government stakeholders to drive coordination of human rights related issues. Engage these stakeholders and agree on plan of action for implementation.
