Pueblo • Spanish for town. The name of Native American nations which lived in villages made of adobe.
Mesa • Spanish word for plateau, a flat topped mountain with at least one steep side.
Canyon • A deep narrow valley with high steep sides.
Tribe • A group of people who share a common ancestor, customs, traditions and follow the same leaders.
