Yucca Trail • Four Day, Three Night Horseback Riding Experience • Learn to take Care of a Horse • Have Fun Riding The Trails of D-bar-A
Ranch Hand Program • Learn To Be A Ranch Hand at D-bar-A • Take Care Of All Of The Animals • Earn the Horsemanship, Veterinary Medicine, and Farm Mechanics Merit Badges • Must be 13 or Older • Learn to Bend and Weld Metal, Work on Farm Machinery, and do Repairs Around the Ranch • Participate in a Cattle Drive at the End of the Week • It Will be Hard Work, but Lots of Fun

Sugar Bush • Learn the History of Making Maple Syrup • Retrieve Syrup From the Trees Yourselves • Boil it Down to Make Maple Syrup • Use the Syrup for a Tasty Pancake Breakfast • There are a Few Weekends in March to Choose From Conditions Permitting
Mushroom Hunting and Fishing • Learn About Edible Mushrooms in Michigan • Learn How to Care for Mushrooms and How to Prepare Them • Learn Where to Look for Fish, Techniques for Catching Them, and How to Filet Them for Eating

Arrowhead Camper Award • Participate with your patrol/den in at least 3 of the following activities. • Day Hike • Conservation Project • Community Service Project • Parent/Son Activity • District Winter Event • District Spring Event • Camporee • Participate in 4 short-term campouts • Attend a long-term camp of six or more straight days and five nights
Polar Bear Camper Award • Camp, using the patrol method, for a minimum of 24 hours consecutively • Camp in a tent or other unheated shelter between December 1 and March 31 • Includes cooking and eating a breakfast, lunch, and dinner
Year Round Camping Award • Spend at least one night camping with your patrol or family each month for twelve consecutive months • Any recent consecutive twelve-month period qualifies • One long-term troop summer camp of at least six nights may be used to count for the month of the event and the subsequent or previous month • One high adventure of at least four nights may be used to count for the month of the event and the subsequent or previous month
