3. Jaundice definition and its effect .1 Jaundice is also called icterus, when the skin and the white of eyes become a yellow colour. people with jaundice have a problem with their liver, which stops it from removing dead.

4. 2 • Red blood cells properly. these blood cells contains a chemical called bilirubin .bilirubin causes the yellow colouring of the skin. Jaundice is common in newly born babies. Jaundice can also called by other disease.

5. Types of jaundice There are three types of jaundice, including • Haemolytic jaundice • Obstructive jaundice • Hepatocellular jaundice

7. symptoms • The symptoms of jaundice are ; • Extreme weakness • Headache • Fever • Loss of appetite • Tiredness • Yellow coloration of eyes.tongue.skin and urine. • Dull pain in liver region. • Sever constipation • nausea

8. causes Jaundice is a sign that the liver is not working.it may be cause by blockage of bile ducts which release bile salt and pigment in to the intestine. The bile then is mixed with blood and this gives a yellow colour of skin. The blockage of the ducts could be caused by: • Gallstone • Inflammation of the liver • Over crowding • Dirty surrounding • Insanitary condition
