Directions: Look at the cartoon carefully, look for symbols, words, setting, etc. Determine what issue the artist is drawing about Analysis the cartoon and decide if the cartoonist is for or against Reagan’s position, explain your answer. After you have finished analyzing the cartoons: pick a topic that would an issue during Reagan’s presidency. Create 2 cartoons, one cartoon showing the positives of Reagan’s decision with regards the issue and one depicting his decisions negatively. C. Write a brief description on the back.
