I would argue this is the least painful of the operations when it comes to fractions. But first we have to talk about a definition that applies to multiplying fractions.
In mathematics the word “of” means multiplication. So if given a problem like this: 1/3 x 27 it means “what is a third of 27” How would you go about solving this problem?
