Our goal • Our goal for this project was to provide a service for a needy individual or group of individuals. • We chose to correspond with the cosmetology program here at Salt Lake Community College to provide haircuts for members of the homeless community here in the Salt Lake area in order to boost their confidence and prepare them to go out into the workforce.

  4. Roadhome • Established in 1923 to help stranded travelers. • Assists homeless families and individuals in Salt Lake County and along the Wasatch Front.

  5. Family Promise • Established in 1986. • 174 establishments in 41 states. • Help homeless and low-income families achieve sustainable independence.
