Groundwater • Groundwater is located beneath earths surface and between little creases. After that groundwater is recharged and flows on the surface.
Groundwater Uses • Ground water makes up about twenty percent of the worlds fresh water. It is roughly equal to the amount of fresh water in an total amount of snow.
Aquifers • Aquifers are a layer that transfers groundwater.
Groundwater Problems • Certain problems such as pollution has disrupted groundwater. Just as rivers and lakes have been over used and polluted so have aquifers. The difference is that aquifers are out of sight.
Water Table • The water table is the surface where the water pressure is equal to the atmospheres pressure.
Seawater • In coastal areas the water table may make more seawater, which in turn will reverse the tides of the seawater to flow onto land.
