Optometrists By: Hannah Cooper • An optometrists is an eye doctor. • To be an optometrist you need to know about eyes, glasses, and prescriptions. • They get $72,000 to $94,000 a year. • You would need to get a Professional Degree( Doctorate in Optometry, DO ). • Creativity- To design new glasses. • Innovation- Make a new eye drop that is like contacts that will last for 24 hours. • We use computers and scanners to do this things.

Optometrist (contin.) • If I choose another job it would be an accountant. • An optometrist may work alone or with someone. • Are office will have alot of glasses and computers. • I love to do this because I love glasses and studying about eyes. • The best thing about this kind of work is to see people leave with new glasses with a smile on their faces.
