See mixed colonies, probably different species of bacteria. Very large numbers in the unwashed side. Also note a fungi on the UW side. Remember, we have a normal commensal population of various micro-organisms on our skin surface.
Spot solution killed all bacteria in the vicinity (contains ethanol) No antimicrobial activity shown by contact lens solution to hand micro-organisms Bacteria colonies look much smaller around the penicillin disk- affecting their numbers and size of colonies? Vinegar, 3% acetic acid show a potent antimicrobial activity
Mouth wash experiment No colonies were visible in the with mouth wash side of the plate. Chlorhexidine is the gold standard of chemical antimicrobial agents in the mouth washes. However, adequate and effective teeth brushing is the goal.
Dramatic difference. Note mixed population of bacteria, colour and size difference between colonies.
