  2. Introduction Many businesses need to raise good capital for running their company smoothly and growing it through time. So, most companies move to the market to raise the necessary capital. There are two capital markets in India that operate for providing this required capital to the business. The two types of markets are primary markets and secondary markets. Primary markets are the ones where a business can directly raise the capital from the public by selling some percentage of stakes in the form of stocks or shares.   3. Types of issues in the primary market IPO: Initial Public Offerings or IPOs are the most popular type of issues that are used by businesses to raise the necessary money. IPO issues are those where a private firm reaches public investors and ask them to buy a certain percentage of stakes in their business. It helps companies to raise the necessary capital, and it also keeps them away from the hassles of loans and debts. Right Issues Right issues are the ones that are issued by the already listed company to its existing shareholders in the form of dividend or bonus shares. These rights are offered in a particular ratio based on the current issues held by the shareholder.
