Welcometo this virtual tour of the Teacher Resource & Activity Center, commonly called “TRAC.” I hope you find this presentation helpful and will call me later to set up a time to visit in person. I’d love to show you around and discuss how this center could help you meet your educational goals. TRAC was established in 1986, a small resource area intended to help KSU’s education majors prepare for classroom teaching. Since then, the facility has grown to over 3500 square feet, opened its doors to the local educational community, and now serves over 20,000 visitors per year! Designed for Teachers • TRAC is a non-profit curriculum center designed to help educators prepare for effective teaching and learning experiences. • The center is stocked with teaching resources for almost all grade levels and almost all subject areas, and includes a large professional library.
Open to Teachers • TRAC sells inexpensive memberships to educators in the local community: -Teachers -Administrators -Childcare providers -Home-school parents -Anyone involved with child/youth programs

Special Programs Mini-Grants for Members: Members who teach in public schools may compete for small grant awards each spring. The annual award/s value varies between $400--$1000. • Workshops: • Every semesterrings • in a new workshop • schedule! Some are • free, others have • fees for materials. • Common workshops: • PRAXIS Prep • Resume Writing • Interviewing Skills • Projects WET, WILD, • & Learning Tree • Special Classroom • Learning Activities Scholastic Book Fairs: Every fall and spring, TRAC hosts a HALF-PRICE Scholastic Book Fair in the center. Anyone is welcome to shop! The selection is huge, but the prices are small!

Friendly & Helpful Staff • Center Director • 2 full-time Secretaries • Student Assistant team _____________________ Any TRAC employee will be happy to show you around, answer questions, and teach you to use equipment!
Location • TRAC is located on KSU’s main campus, on Chastain Road near I-75 in Kennesaw. • All visitors park in the Visitor Parking Lot, then walk across the beautiful campus green to Kennesaw Hall. TRAC is on the second floor of Kennesaw Hall, Room 2005. • Driving directions, parking information, and a campus map are available at the TRAC website.
MEMBERSHIP PRICES Memberships run Aug. 1—July 31. • Individuals: $25 Aug. 1—July 31 • A GROUP is 5 or more people joining together, at the same time. 5—14 people: $15 per person 15 or more people: $210 for the entire group
