The UAE health system is operated by four regulatory agencies, namely DHA, HAAD, MOH and DHCC, which are responsible for ensuring that UAE citizens and foreign residents receive the best treatment and medical care possible. These regulators are also responsible for enforcing quality standards for approval through approval testing. Doctors and healthcare professionals must take these exams to be approved to apply for a position and practice in the UAE.
