Built to be used by any Intermountain Department to track patients, visitors, etc.
J2EE web application with a Oracle Database (TACPRD01) back end.
3. Development Timeline Started Development June 2006.
Pilot program at LDS Short Stay Surgery and Utah Valley Admit Lab September 2006.
Version 1.0 live to production December 2006.
Currently implemented 88 workflows with ~1100 users.
Planned total of ~120 workflows by end of Q4 with projected user base of ~1500.
Maintenance releases every month.
4. Workflow Engine The process engine handles state, variable, and task management as well as audit logging across all active instances.
Simple process oriented programming model.
Allows departments to design a patient workflow specific to their needs.
5. Self Service Kiosk Support Uses the same workflow engine as all other process.
Can be customized per department using the process definition tools.
Currently being piloted at LDS Same Day Surgery waiting area.
